History of Bal Bharati Public School Pitampura (BBPS Pitampura)
The Child Education Society, founded by Late Lala Hansraj, established Bal Bharati Public School in 1984. It is nationally recognized as a co-educational school with departments like Montessori, Primary and Secondary. On 30th April 1984, the school began its operations for Mont I to III from a rented house in Harsh Vihar. Initially, it was a small family of 200 students and 16 staff members working together with a common goal of educating the children.
Later in the year 1987, the DDA authority of New Delhi, allotted the school a primely located piece of land in Pitampura for establishing a building. With 45 staff members and 1150 students, Bal Bharati Public School shifted to the new building. This shift embarks the beginning of a beautiful educational journey. A variety of new facilities were enforced within the new infrastructure.
