Smt. Hemi Surendra Singh, chairperson of the Civil Services Society laid the foundation of Sanskriti School Chanakyapuri in 1996. It was founded as a school for the wards of civil servants but is not open to all and is a host to 2500 students of classes Nursery to XII. It has an urban-type campus spread over an area of 8 acres and has a beautiful infrastructure. Ms. Richa Sharma Agnihotri is the Principal of the school and implements years of experience and knowledge for the betterment of students. With a student-teacher ratio of 13:1, the school ensures that all the students are able to understand the classroom teachings. It is affiliated with CBSE the school has separate curriculums for junior, middle, and senior schools. It also has an early child development program for pre-primary students and it focuses on sensory development.

The school believes a lot in community service and has a program named Ehsaas under which they take different initiatives like making paper bags for the Indian Cancer Society, creative writing, and visiting an old age home. It also has different e-magazines like Socious, Samvit, Srijan, Meraki, Nutrition, and others. Different events, topics, social activities, and arts are covered in these magazines.
