The Air Force School (TAFS) was established in 1955 with the aim to provide quality education to the wards of Indian Air force personnel. Initially, it was open to children of Air Force families only but now it has opened its gates to other forces and civilians as well. It is a co-education school and offers education to the students of classes Nursery to XII. Its curriculum is well-designed according to the guidelines of CBSE. It is also a member of the National Progressive Schools Conference (NPSC). Discipline and values are given a lot of importance by the school as it wants to prepare students for the future. The school firmly believes in its motto ‘Education Empowers.’
