About Mount Carmel School Dwarka

Mr. Vijay Williams and Ms. Neena Williams founded the Mount Carmel School Society with the motive to provide quality education to students. Mount Carmel School Dwarka was established in 1972 with just 165 students. Now it is home to around 3000 students of classes Nursery to XII. It is a co-education institution and has a properly designed curriculum according to the guidelines set by CBSE. it offers all three streams of education to the students of senior secondary school. The school also has a provision for teaching special subjects such as Legal studies and Theatre studies. 

It has a large campus spread over an area of 2.8 acres and offers a good learning environment to its students. The school also has disabled-friendly facilities. With a student-teacher ratio of 23:1, the school makes sure that students are able to understand the topics being taught in the classroom.

Mount Carmel School Extracurricular Activities

School life is much more than just books and academics as students should take part in many other facilities for holistic development. The school has different clubs so that it can cater to the different interests of the students. Some of its clubs are the Aero modeling club, a Cultural club, a Science club, a Maths club, a Dance club, a Craft club, and various others so that students can enroll according to their interests. Other than that it also has a house system which helps in the development of leadership skills among students and they can also take part in different cultural activities throughout the year. Students are also encouraged to indulge in one sport or another so that they can take care of their physical fitness. Students of the school have won awards in different sports like taekwondo, skating, karate, tang soo do, athletics, and various others.
