Bal Bharati Public School was established in 1992 and is one of the many institutions initiated by the Child Education society.  It is a host to the students of classes Nursery to XII  and has a curriculum designed according to the guidelines of CBSE. Ms. Asha Prabhakar the principal of the school wants to offer its students 21st-century skills so that they can excel in life and focus on thier character building. The school is spread over an area of 3.5 acres and has amazing infrastructure. It is a co-education school with a student-teacher ratio of 22:1 which enables students in understanding classroom concepts in a better way. The school believes in inclusive teaching as it focuses on both academic and co-curricural areas.

The school has a house system and students are divided into eight houses, each house has a student leader. This thing helps in the development of leadership skills in students. Other than that a lot of competitions and activities are organized to encourage student participation. The school has a dramatics club, dance club, commerce club, economics club, electronics club, environment club, heritage club, literary club, quizzing club, photography club, performing arts club, road safety club, robotics club, food club, and many others in which students can enroll according to their interests. The school is also a part of CBSE reading program so that students can develop the habit of reading. To provide students with a global perspective the school has different exchange programs for its students other than that it also organizes many virtual competitions. 

Sports offered by the school are Athletics, baskets Ball, Volley Ball, Cricket, Table Tennis, Badminton, Judo, Karate, Hand Ball, Throw Ball, Tennis, Swimming, Chess, Foot Ball, Rhythmic Skipping, Physical Fitness & Skating so that students can excel in the field of sports as well.
